Thanks for the prompt responses. I thought the axle was in--does one have to drive it in to be sure its connected?

Transmission fluid gushing from driver side axle
I have a 98 V70 AWD and am in Maryland. I just replaced both front axles (purchased from FCP) and am now having some problems: 1.) Strange vibration upon take off from standing stop. 2.) Losing tranny fluid from driver side axle, not seeping but niagara falls gushing. Replaced seal today, still gush...

Hi, and glad to be here.
I work part time for Autozone and AFAIK in the Baltimore Market, OBDII checks are still free. It is also true that we(Autozoners) are not allowed to clear the codes. What you can do is rent the scanner, clear your codes, and return the tool for a refund.
