Try to disconnect the maf sensor connector and see if it will run.
Other than that could be that hose from turbo popped off.
Is coolant level ok?

Re: Nivomats/UPDATE

What is the part # for your sport Nivomats? They can have part# just like blue ones from the parts car i got and they can ONLY be OE which is Sachs. Springs must be the same since nivomats use just two kinds of springs....regular(2wd) and awd. What springs did you bought...OE or aftermarket? Differe...

Re: The craziest problem with 96 Volvo 850 T5

Did they checked TCU for fault codes? Erikv11 have good point about this. TCM,unlike ECU and ABS control unit will not clear the fault codes itself when parts are being replaced. They will remain stored untill read and cleared even if parts is replaced...AND will not proceed further untill codes are...

Re: Nivomats/UPDATE

Springs are the same for all nivomats except for awd cars as far as i could investigate on my catalogues and data. As far as i could tell for a few days of driving, there are no problems....except that it feels a bit "harder" on the back. I just had rear passenger's side failed,so stability is recove...

Re: Nivomats

No handling issues at all,Lee! The fact is that handling is recovered and the car behaves like it should. Ride height is the same...when i bounce it,it behaves the same on both sides. Blue nivomats came from a car which is also a wagon...same engine, auto transmission...just a year older(1996)...so i...

Re: Nivomats

I read something about differences between EU & U.S market nivomats(blue sticker, yellow sticker and something like that). I tried to find specs via part numbers and i couldn't find nothing. Parts car is just a year older with the same engine and transmission but it's nivomats are blue and mine have ...

Nivomats/UPDATE

What is the difference between blue(9140238) and black(9140391) rear nivomats? They are both listed for 850/v70. Mine have black ones, the parts car have blue ones. Both have the same engine and auto transmission and both are wagons. Mine is '97 and parts car is '96 with Yazaki cluster(if that means ...

You checked everything except what i told you to do. 8)
Again.....K-Line goes through immobiliser module(immo ecu) :!:
Could be immobiliser fault...or k-line from immo ecu to engine ecu.

If it's black & white one way valve....it goes to a vacuum tree...at least on '97.
