Re: EVAP hose?
I managed to build a hose that replaces the stock hose. The stock hose, which is discontinued now, is unique in that it has a large end and a smaller end. I measured the inside diameter of the original hose and it appears to be 18mm x 11mm. So, to accomplished this repair, if you cannot locate a ...

Re: EVAP hose?
Thank you, I appreciate the offer, but please don't bother. I can build a hose with an adapter that will outlast the car and I'll have it back on the road soon.

Re: EVAP hose?
I'm in the US. I called Pelican yesterday because I also saw the part on their website, they don't have it either. I see the part on many European sites, but rather than having something shipped across the pond, I'll just make a hose with an adapter and be done with it.

Re: EVAP hose?
I've been on the phone and scouring the web to see if this hose is in stock somewhere, but no luck. I think it's Volvo Part #9463088, now discontinued. I'm not sure of the I.D. of this hose. The brass adapter I have (5/8" to 3/8") seems to loosely fit inside the old hose, so I suspect it's a metric ...

EVAP hose?
98 S70, has had a EVAP leak P0445 for about a year. Finally dropped the tank today and found an EVAP hose on top of the tank, cracked at one of the clamp locations. The hose is between 6 - 7" in length, one end appears to be close to 5/8" I.D. and the other is close 3/8" I.D. (Actual measurements ...

98 S70 T5 Part #9463088 Fuel Tank Vent Hose, No Longer Available?
After fill-ups I notice fuel leaking from the top of the tank. I purchased a Fuel Filler Neck Gasket #6842188 and a new check valve #9135119. I plan to lower the fuel tank to replace these parts, and while there I'd like to replace the fuel vent hose on top of the tank which, apparently, is a known ...

96 850 Time for Struts and Shocks, what's good now?
I have a 98 S70 T5 and a 96 850 Turbo. In 2006, I installed Koni Front Struts (8710) and Bilstein rear shocks on the 850. It's time to replace them as the ride is harsh, teeth chattering, and every pot hole in the road feels like I'm jumping the Grand Canyon. In 2015, I needed to replace the struts ...

Upper Torque Mount Bushing, Brands?
98 S70
Just noticed my original upper torque mount bushing is torn. I've been searching for an OE replacement but find only the aftermarket polyurethane bushings being offered. I suspect the Volvo OE bushing is discontinued, am I correct? The polyurethane bushing, as I've read, create vibration into ...

Re: Rear Intake Camshaft Seal 9443310 Replacement, Is there a write up?
I removed the Oetiker clamp but left the hose in place, it's like petrified rubber, if there's such a thing. There is no way that hose will come off clamp or no clamp. I was able to replace the exhaust seal by moving things aside, put everything back together, started it up and took a 1/2 hour test ...

Re: Rear Intake Camshaft Seal 9443310 Replacement, Is there a write up?
Got the intake seal in and seated correctly, I bought the $65.00 tool from IPD and used a 1/14'" socket as well to get it seated.
Now another challenge is the rear exhaust seal, which has some obstructions in the way.
Since this is a turbo model, I've got a large pipe or tube in the way of ...
