I was afraid of that. I guess I was hoping they picked up power for something else underneath at the starter connection that was unfused.

This one has nothing to do with fuses or the smaller red wires. Tried them. I'm getting the .45A from just the fat red wire to the starter area and the ground.

We have a $180 Foxwell 530 Multi scanner that we use for BMWs and I see they offer additional $80 software for Volvo.
The BMW setup is pretty good and I'm wondering if anyone has bought the "Volvo" version of the 530 or the Volvo upgrade which I assume is the same software. Thanks.
