i had the same problem with my 85 740 no turbo. recheck your spark, are you getting yellow spark or blue? if you get yellow you a weak coil. i got mine from U PULL IT five finger discount.

problem solved i rechecked the spark and it seem to be weak (a yellowish color) so i went down to U PULL IT and got a coil . put it in and started right up. :D . i also have 2 ignition control and 2 fuel pump relay if anyone needs one let me know. can contact me @ [email protected]

unplugged the mass flow and still not starting

my 85 volvo stall out and wont restart. i have fuel and spark. both of my pumps are working. a friend told me to change out the igintion control box. and still nothing. im lost, can any help a poor full time student out!
