Hello all,

I've got a funny sound in the front part of the powertrain in my 2000 XC70. It doesn't change when braking and it is still there when going straight. The sound changes with vehicle speed and it kind of sound like an axle/CV joint problem.

I'm wondering if the axles and/or the CV joints ...

Being from Michigan, I'm running Michelin Pilot Alpin in the winter on a XC70 (they work really well), and in the summer I'm running Michelin HydroEdge. They are supposed to have very good tread life. I'll tell you in a couple of years when I know for sure. I think they come with a 90,000 mile ...

Does anyone have any instructions of how to replace the transmission fluid on a XC70 2000, automatic? Do I need to get anything other than new fluid before I begin?
