chances are your spring is still attached. The plastic hinge runs about $14 from the dealer and is a 5 minute install. Replace the hinge before your door falls off! This happened to mine but luckily the retaining strap help until my wife could stop and pull it off.

Yes, the entertainment system offers DVD sound through the second seat speakers. We have a 2005 XC90 and only the rear speakers transmit the DVD sound. The front speakers still transmit the stereo/CD sound which can be somewhat annoying.

changing struts on a 2001

Does anyone have a manual for a 1999-2003 S80? I'm looking for the measurements to compress the strut spring on re-installation. Any help is appreciated!

I'm having the same issue and think I've narrowed it down to the front steering link. I just replaced the struts and think the steering link may have over extended and may not be aligned correctly. I can move it up and down with my hand and it makes a "clunk" sound.
