Re: Rear Main Seal-Pull engine?
This works on most Volvo models- I've used it on my 760 for an engine mount replacement, and fits good on S60 and S80, where I have lowered the whole engine / transmission. You need good size threaded rod (3/4 inch to be on the safe side) $10 ; chain links with a connector- $10 and 6ft 2x8 and two o...

I have the special tool set - if you are near Tampa bay area, you are more than welcome to bring your bushings of choice and control arm, along with a beer or two, and you are good to go- I have done at least 3 sets so far and it takes me close to no time.

Re: 2007 S60 2.5T no start
And she came back to life! It was the front E Mount which was broken and was touching the wiring around the starter- every time a Volvo comes back to life you get the ultimate satisfaction- the insurance people were trying to put you in the Junk yard, but you are going back to life, to the busy stre...

Re: 2007 S60 2.5T no start
Definitely not a battery problem, did try with two jumper cables hooked directly to engine ground/ positive terminal near relay/fuse box to a running car ( one of my other 760 turbo I have) I believe is something to do with impact on sump/ sub-frame- there is a wire harness near the starter, and I a...

Re: 2007 S60 2.5T no start
DICE will not connect, I re-seated the ECU and reconnected battery with key in the ignition- still the same, will try with a new battery just to make sure it's not something simple as low amps

2007 S60 2.5T no start
The car had a broken oil pan, which I replaced, and now when I turn the switch it will only crank for four times(exactly four) and won't start. Could it be some sort of oil pressure protection circuit- after all the oil was lost at once, may be there is a sensor which went bad?

Re: 2001 V70 2.4T Fuel Injection problems?
Don't stay in the left lane for too long, even on days with poor visibility and fog, people will be cruising at 120-140mph...I got very impressed when I was in a VW diesel minivan/ airport shuttle, and he was cruising at 200km/h /124 mph! He took us to a hotel 40 miles away in close to 20 minutes, A...

Re: 2001 V70 2.4T Fuel Injection problems?
Replaced both Oxygen sensors and started the car- no changes, it will not go over 4000 rpm, checked fuel pressure- it was 55 PSI- and steady, I started to give up, opened up a beer, and started thinking... There was a voice which told me: the ECU is not aware of the new sensors, so it's just trying ...

2001 V70 2.4T Fuel Injection problems?
I have been troubleshooting the air intake and replaced all the vacuum lines to the turbo, Air mass Meter, TCV, even the whole intake between Air MM and Turbo, and still car cannot go over 4000 rpm, it starts to loose power, as of right now I am suspecting Fuel filter and Fuel Pressure Pulse Damper,...
