I have been able to determine that there isn't power getting to the two "main" courtesy lights, however there is power to the two "map" lights in the same housing????

I tried it...no go.
What's strange is that all of the other courtesy lights (under dash and rear seat) work fine with the door or key activation. They also fade out as they should. It's just the "main" light, in the cabin, that won't come on either by the switch, or the door/key.

interior lighting problem
I have a 99 S80. The courtesy light will not come on with either the door opening, or the manual button. The two little map lights do work via the buttons. I opened the light housing, and the two bulbs look fine (filiments are intact). I can also see that the small green pilot light in the switch we...
