Re: Driveability prob after pcv serv (turbo)

Update: Even though I drove the car yesterday after connecting the sensor I left unplugged, it ran poor. But this morning when I drove it it felt like its usual self again, wierd? I did go through and double check the vacuum hoses from the TCV and all looked okay, I may replace them anyway. Thing is...

Driveability prob after pcv serv (turbo)

Well I had a slight oil leak so I figured it was time to do the pcv service. All went fine till the test drive. The car now runs like crap, almost like the turbo isnt working. I lost at least 1 mpg from having to force it a little more. So what I did find is a code, atmosperic pressure sensor, (oops...

Re: Question about boost gauge

Thanks MIJ. I just didnt see a place for the vacuum line to connect to, so I thought it was electric somehow, and there may be a sensor that sent electric signal to the gauge. I had the dash out to replace some bulbs, so I had a pretty good look at it. I may look for an aftermarket gauge, or get the...

Question about boost gauge

In my 97 850 the gauges (instrument panel) were obviously replaced. I had the dISC on the dash and no select reset panel on the dash. I have corrected that. Thing is the boost gauge is dead. I thought I read somewhere that it was vacuum operated, but after having it out, that doesnt seem to be the c...

Re: Do it yourself ABS module repair.

Great how to article. I did the removal, resolder yesterday then siliconed it back together, gave it a few hours to set and reinstalled it this morning. Works great. I had four codes for rear speed sensors 313,314,323,324, this eliminated all of them. The only main broken solder I saw was at the 2 b...

Re: Radiator cooler lines

Thanks for the tip and the part numbers Lee. I like the site, I'll be using it often as this is my first Volvo, and wow does it need some work. Dealer here was like $15.50 for the 3 pieces, but I have 4 cooler lines, 2 trans 2 oil cooler. So that would be $62. I may give Darryl Watrip Volvo a call. :D

Radiator cooler lines

I am in need of the clips, orings, etc that connect the cooler lines to the radiator. I saw that FCP Groton has them for 19.95 (x2) I have turbo, I just replaced the radiator, and now have an oil leak. My question is anyone bought these at the dealer or are they way more, or even available without t...
