Re: Am having problems installing FCP PCV KIT HELP!
My neighbor has a repair shop and has done this repair a lot of times. I learned this after the fact BTW. In speaking to him he does exactly what you describe. Now to return to your regularly scheduled thread: The PCV Breather pipe for my specific engine is nationally back ordered and no one is 5 st...

Re: Am having problems installing FCP PCV KIT HELP!
UPDATE Monday April 25, FCP has confirmed the kit they sent me for my 1996 850 non-turbo did not contain the correct parts for my specific car. Specifically the PCV pipe between the oil trap anf the flame trap. The parts I need are the actual plastic pipe and the two rubber ends, all separate parts ...

Re: Am having problems installing FCP PCV KIT HELP!
Thanks Lee. In my research I now see that and having spoken with a couple of Volvo dealers. I have an early engine and the system matched what FCP shows as a 1995 type system for N/A automatics. I am waiting for them to open to discuss this with then as they left yesterday without calling me back. B...

Re: Am having problems installing FCP PCV KIT HELP!
Status Update- Spoke with FCp customer service this morning asked to wait for a call back from their "volvo tech". I waited...no call for a couple of hours so, being impatient, I calls again and got a nice fellow who seems most helpful and thank to the pictures provided by ericv11 (MAD PRO...

Re: PCV System Repair on a Volvo 5-cylinder
Has anyone found the FCP kit had come with the wrong hose that runs between the Oil Trap and the flame trap housing on the breather tube? I am trying to sort this out now. Its a Volvo branded hose assembly #91225598 having two lines. Both terminating at the flame trap nipple at one end and the large...

Re: Am having problems installing FCP PCV KIT HELP!
Thanks Ericv11. looks very familiar except your breaker tube looks different than mine or is it just the elbow without the flex attached?
I am most unhappy now if this is a known problem to FCP. Will call this am to discuss with them.
