I want to paint my '97 850 T5 spoiler also. It's definately much worse in terms of fading, peeling and general bad lookingness than the body of the car. The spoiler is clearly plastic. V70R doesnt have enough power.. :D I think that i need to buy new turbo and upgrade ECU. Or keep it stock, and buy 960 or 760, and fitt the T6 engine in there..Lets see.. :wink: Welcome Fellah! Whatever you do.. don't use ArmorAll / silicones. Way back (80s), I had an Audi Fox with small dash cracks. I Armorall-ed it which helped - for a while. But when the silicone dried up / went away, the cracks became twice the size that they were in the beginning. My theory is that the silicone swells...

850 '97 roof rack suggestions
My search for "roof rack" didn't come up with much. My '97 850 has no factory racks or rain gutters. Was was wondering what is best brand or works best for these roofs? Thule, Yakima, Inno? Can you even get the Volvo OEM Rails? This would be nice for looks and I could tackle my peeling bla...
