yes, the OEM volvo unit has two "latches" that work as handles when you press on them, they snap, and then a spring pushes them out.

in the white is spooled up.

also depends on how hard you're gassing it, dont worry if the gauge is off, the stock gauge isn't exactly meant to be used as a exact measure.

see if your tranny's oil has little bits of metal in it, if it does DO NOT CHANGE IT!!! OR YOUR TRANNY WILL FAIL right then. be ready for it to fail soon though.
