Seal Insulation After Continuity Probe
After you probe through a wire's insulation testing for continuity, you have two choices - splice, or re-seal the insulation. If the continuity is good, what do you use for re-sealing under the car or hood?

Re: Dashboard Vinyl Damage
Thanks. Sounds like good advice. What's a "dash cap?" How do you glue it up? Link, maybe? I didn't want to mention Armorall, hoping someone would bring it up. I had an Audi dash repaired once and the guy told me not to let Armorall get onto the repair, but I'd never heard anything more abo...

Dashboard Vinyl Damage
I've just started looking at '90 - '95 Volvos and noticed that everything I've seen so far has cracked vinyl dashboards. I don't see that mentioned in the online ads, so is it just understood that that's the case, or am I just finding the ones that have been parked outside in the southern US sunshin...

Re: 90- 740GL stumbles at idle
Were there any changes to the emissions data (assuming California mandates you can see it) from the time the problem started?

It's a 940 - not sure of the year. Does the year make a difference?

Re: What's a "blown turbo?"
Very clear - thanks, both.
What's the cost of the parts for a worst-case, everything-must-go turbo replacement?
In case you haven't guessed, I'm tempted by a local Volvo Turbo which has recently had both its evaporator and heating coils replaced.
