Re: 1998 V70 Crank, No Start, No Spark, after manual swap
After some poking around last night, literally, with my electrical connector probe thing, there is power going TO the coil when the key is in the II position, both blue and red wires are hot. however when I turn the key there is no power coming from the coil to the distributor. Tried a different coi...

However there is good fueling through the injectors confirmed by popping out the rail and drenching my garage floor. There also is no power coming from the coil but considering they rarely go bad t...

Re: 850 Not starting, no spark . . .
as far as i can tell. there are big ones underneath a plastic panel that needs to be removed with 4 torx screws. i don't know how to determine if they are tripped or not but by eye they don't seem to be compromised.

Re: 850 Not starting, no spark . . .
first off, thanks for all your help. this has been so frustrating but i'm not the kind of person that outsources my auto repairs. i bought a trickle charger yesterday and let the battery top off overnight. didn't make any difference. i know it is still an electrical problem but can't figure out why ...

Re: 850 Not starting, no spark . . .
brand new. when it started i was jumping off of a 4.0L suv. could the higher amperage of that system make a difference? since i have jumped off of two different 4 cyl that haven't done it. might my battery be getting ruined/going bad?
