thanks for your reply coustyj,window or mirror or door lock does not work from drivers door switches,plugs at main drivers door switches are fine,i will check the fuses but this was a problem that was coming and going for a few months and now has totally failed

thanks Bill for your prompt reply I will look for them and hopefully that annoying fault code will go,any ideas about deleteing serv light,i can remember someone posting something about"keeping buttons pressed on the dash for a few seconds in sequence or something,if someone has any ideas they ...

S60 position bulb failure /service light
position bulb failure fault is up on the left hand display on the dash,all bulbs are ok-i have tried to delete this fault with a scanner but it wont delete-could anyone have any advise, also the service light has came up ,is there any way i can reset this to remove it ,,thanks

sounds like,given the low pressure from the oil switch,that the filter for your oil pump inside the sump is blocked or starved of oil partially

swedishparts in great britian are pretty good for parts,the engines may be abit smaller though than volvos supplied in states but i would imagine that the o2 sensors would be interchangable say if the model is the same but engine size is different provided end plug which includes a calibration resis...

the scanner is probably the best way to check the sensor,the voltage should oscillate from 0.1 to around 0.9 v about 8 times every 10 seconds,varying slightly with different cars and voltage,heating the sensor with a torch on a bench test isnt a great method of checking sensor as i heated a bad sens...

sounds like a second opinion is required,that just doesnt sound right,i also would be interested in what the outcome of this is,sorry i cant be of any help on this one
