Can anyone help in what types of problems are common with
2002 S80 and can be DIY. I purchased the car and would like to check out as much as I can on my own. Thank you all, I have already learned a lot.

I just got a 2002 S80 with some minor problems and one was engine shaking. I checked the air filter and noticed it needed changing really bad. I did and the shaking disappeared maybe it will work for you. Good luck
