Done it! Sent mine to get repaired. in 3 days, it was in my car and humming. that was 6 months ago.

I just for giggles took the wire loom cover apart and physically traced the wire. The"brown " pigtail is indeed the Fusible link spliced to the Bat + wire for the Cooling fan

The "Brown " pigtail is a Fusible link spliced to the + bat lead to the cooling fan
