Re: a few problems on my new v70
4-21-11...I have a 98 v70r...key fob is chronic...I suspect that the receiver module located, behind the glove box, has a chronic open circuit...I say that because the fix for the ABS module and my cruise control module was a faulty exterior plug to printed circuit board soldiered connection failure...

I posted about a chronic problem with my V70R crusise control. I read everything on the forum. I tested the column switch, the brake pedal switch, and checked the vac. lines under the battery. All was ok, I looked at the cc module, under the fuzes, opened it and damaged the connections to the exteri...

Slow remotes, keyless entry
Hi, I've read everybody's posts on keyless entry problems. I very much appreciate you sharing your advise. However, my issue has not been address. I think it's important. My sister has a 2000 cross country and is having the same problem: I have to press my romote 6 to 10 times before it will work. I...

TPS FAULT DIAGNOSISED THANKS TO TPM CHAT
Hi I am george, Thanks for the extensive dialogue on the '99-'02 tpm discusion. My '98 v70r has had very similar symptoms. I remove the tps and found a glitch in the resistance. I sprayed contact cleaner into it and the glitch was gone. I drove it for about an hour and no more stumble. This web site...

driver's door hold open support thing
the thing that holds the drivers door open seems to have broken loose at the body. My sister has a 2000 crx. the same thing happened to hers. So it's a common fault. Any easy fixes other that disconnect the stop? secondly, I read the fuel economy entries. I've disconnect the battery frequently when ...

Rear wheel bearing?
thank you. I fixed my abs module. and the advise is a great help. I have a 98 v70r. I 've got a little drive line noise. My first thought way a rear wheel bearing. But I can't really hear it on one side or the other. I was wondering if the v704 awd, drive train isn't a little noisy? At this point it...
