I did try to pull the codes, didn't get anything. My OBD-II reader doesn't support the special sequences needed to get the Volvo transmission and SRS codes. Did the ATF flush, no joy.

When in Reverse or Neutral, it feels like there is a brake on. To get it back out of the garage I had to rev it way up to get the car to move, accompanied by a grinding noise. It seems to move forward in Drive just fine.

Any suggestions before I call the shop?
