little sandpaper, an extra bolt and some ingenuity, and now I have a working tail light, thanks again for the help

i will give that a try first thing tomorrow morning, i take it the ground is the solid bar that the bulb holder twists on to?

yeah there is a little hole in the clip i was able to get a small screwdriver through and after some prying got it out, now just got to bend the little booger back straight.....thanks again

Thanks i wish i would have read your post sooner. The volvo dealer parts guy swore they were bendix, and of course they are not.....which i saw when i got the wheel off and it was printed "girling" in big letters on the caliper. thanks again

So i recently bought this vehicle and it had what i thought was a burned out tail light on the rear passenger side. After replacing this bulb it still doesn't work. The brake light function works, however the tail lamp function fails when I turn the headlights on? I swapped out bulbs, even bulb hold...

I am changing the brake pads and need to know the differance from bendix versus girling. I have ABS atleast the light in the dash lights up so I assume it has ABS, but do not have a second vehicle to run to the shop incase I get it wrong. So how can I tell which kind of caliper I have??

So i was able to get the cig lighter/cubby hole out of the way, and it appears that the radio is held in with metal spring clips, however the right side looks wedged behind something while the left is free. Is there a way to back the clip out, or if I cut it can these things be bought or will I have...
