The only correlation that I've been able to see, cruising through a couple of websites, between the misfire code and O2 sensor code being thrown is a vacuum leak.

i have a 1997 volvo 960 with 86000 miles on it . a code came on and said num 1 cyl not fireing so i changed num 1 and num 6 coils to see if it was the spark plug or coil. after that the o2 sensor code came on instead.i changed them back the way they were and cleared the code and still the sensor cod...
