I am attempting to replace the spindle assembly on my 2000 V40 ....any advice would be appreciated, ie: special tools, tips, dont bother take it to mechanic .... etc

I replaced the head gasket on my 2000 V40, I did not need a special tool, you just need to make sure the marks line up on the timing chain and the pulley. A couple of wrenches can get the job done.
