The maintenance is up t date although I don't remember the last tune up. I thought maybe water or bad fuel because of how quick it came on and it is a humid day. I also thought about oxygen sensors because of the check engine light.

Just a few hours ago our XC70 wagon started to chug like it dropped a cylinder of something. I put more gas in just to offset and water the might have got in the tank. Stll chugs! It feels like there's a plug wire loose, the check engine light came on and flashed when it was running very rough at id...

I took off the black plasic piece on the left hinge and the wires were all okay. I then took off the inside door panel, which comes off with a star screw driver and 4 screws and then just pull firmly and the clips will let go. I checked the wires all the way to the tailgate lock and they seemed fine...

2001 XC70 Tailgate Sensor
The sensor that indicates my tailgate is open is shorting - indicating the tailgate is open when it's closed, latched & locked. Occasionally when I go over a bump the warning light and error message will go away only to return a few seconds later. Also, it will occasionally trigger the the entry...
