Thanks for your reply. I did not notice any bubbles on the dipstick...wondering if I should get a second opinion? $880 is pretty steep, even for a dealer.

Also, does the engine need to be making a noise/knocking/ticking sound to indicate this service is needed?

I JUST had my transmission completely rebuilt, only to have my check engine light and low oil pressure light come on on my way home. I checked the dipstick and the oil didn't appear to be low.
