Re: "Low battery" warning on 2016 XC60

Agree with Rick. Also check the battery with a voltmeter, with engine off. How old is the battery? Original? 4-5 year old battery could be on its last legs. Not sure if it is a problem with your MY, but there is a known issue with the Satellite radio draining the battery in older models, but that is...

Re: 2016 TFT DIM Retrofit

You'll need a DICE connector (pretty sure the knockoffs work fine) and a Windows PC/Laptop (of course). I think you'll find the most info and help from others for the TFT issue over here: https://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?516273-2014-TFT-DIM-Retrofit-into-2011-2013-S60. This topic has jus...

Re: 2016 TFT DIM Retrofit

Hmm.. I’ve actually done the retrofit myself since my last post, but I haven’t been back to the dealer for any work. I suppose it could be possible that the previous owner had done a Vdash upgrade (which presumably alters the software on the cluster) and the dealer pushed a factory software to the c...

Yes, F1 would definitely not be F1 without Ferrari! That said, I am looking forward to a prancing horse doing the oval here at Texas Motor Speedway :-)

Re: What?! Ferrari mulls move from F1 to IndyCar in 2022

Yahoo didn't quite get that story correct, unfortunately: https://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/29177951/ferrari-considering-indycar-entry-f1-budget-cap-plans In an interview with Sky Italia, team principal Mattia Binotto confirmed IndyCar and the top level of the World Endurance Championship were unde...

Re: 2011 XC60 T6 Backup Camera

Not done it myself but replacing the camera itself should be plug and play. But before you get that far, I recommend some more troubleshooting. Maybe just a loose connection, or maybe the camera is not secured ? https://accessories.volvocars.com/InstallationInstruction/Document/VCC-394789-1/en-us/XC...

Re: $6500 for repairs??

You don’t say how many miles on the car and what type of driving it normally gets. Was the check engine light on prior to the plug service and were there any codes then? -Joe (Btw I’m skeptical of the needed service too, for no other reason than i have original exhaust and cat on my 99 S70 and can’t...

Might need to bleed the other brakes then.

Re: 2004 XC90 rear tire smoking Topic is solved

Is it still locking up? It could be the brake line, and worth the effort to replace on that aged car even if it doesn't fix it. My '04 XC90 (no longer have it) had a problem with one locking front caliper, and it turned out to be the valve body in the ABS module. Check out this thread for someone el...
