Try re calibrating the window.
With ignition on not with engine running, raise the window to full close and keep the switch in the full close position for 5-10 seconds then release.
See if it works, seems like I did this on my wifes 2010 XC60.

Nice write up. I did my wife's 2010 and it is pretty easy. Most of my time was spent cleaning the pump and surrounding area where oil was leaking.

I've done mine a couple times and there is no scan tool necessary. You remove the parking brake motors and then screw the piston of the motor back down. Once finished you activate the parking brake one and off a few times and it recalibrates it's position to work correctly with the new pads.

It was displayed correctly on the cluster and next to the gear selector. I read about a tsb where the car wouldn't start because it wouldn't sense being in park or neutral but nothing about not shutting off.

On my wifes xc60 t6 the electric cooling fan never seems to run. Is this normal? We have taken some long trips in the car and I never hear the fans kick on. When do these normally run and is there a way to test them?

I need to do the brakes on my wifes 2010 XC60 T6. Is there really something about 4+ or can I use Dot 4 to top up the fluid? I have searched and don't find anything very definate. I have seen Dot 5.1 is OK but would like to hear form other Volvo folk. Thanks
