I need a voltage regulator for my 1994 850 T but I see two types being offered, one by Bosch 1197311520 and one by Huco 1197311234. Are they interchangeable or were there two different types of alternators/regulators fitted to these cars?

I am having a hard time with these collapsing turbo hoses..how can a hose collapse if the turbo is boosting atmospheric or higher, which is what it does normally ? Just had my battery boil dry and crack..Put a new one in and I am getting 18 volts...regulator is bad, had this happen on a Mercedes once, blowing all the light bulbs, etc..

I posted earlier about a loose drivers side mirror and checked out the mount screws, they were not the problem. The mirror assy is loose inside the entire mirror enclosure which is mounted to the door. Any ideas on how to get inside this assy to try and tighten it up before it falls apart?

The drivers side mirror on my 1994 850 sportwagon is loose..the whole mirror assy feels like it is ready to fall off the door..how is this attached to the door and how do I get at the attachment fitting(s)?

I need to replace right hand lower ball joint on a 1994 850 turbo sportwagon and ordered one thinking I could grind off rivets and bolt new one on. But looking at lower control arm it seems to be all one piece, I don't see any rivets...am I missing something??

Anyone familiar with Karlyn replacement suspension parts such as tie rod ends and ball joints? I did a search and they seem to manufacture in NY state with close European ties..

I have a 1984 850 turbo sportwagon and it surges when I take it out on the highway and it is still relatively cold..the temp gauge is reading normal but it has only been running 10 minutes max. Sitting at 110 km there is a significant surging feeling although I can't really notice anything on speedo...
