Traced to intermittent contact at connector 94-301 pin #39.
So far, the problem seems to be solved.

Strange AC behavior 2019 S60 T6 Inscription
This has happened 4 times since the car was new (purchased 7/12): Car sat locked and unused for a day. Only unlocked and re-locked once in 24 hours. Started out on a 80 degree afternoon Auto climate was already set on 70 degrees from a hot day two days ago. After traveling about a mile, the AC was a...

Re: 2012 S60 won't start, P0340
Do you have any squirrels in your area? Pesky little creatures can enter the engine compartment from below and sever important signal wires in the harness. Also, be sure any connectors that are loosened during troubleshooting and/or repair are seated fully when reconnected. If you don't get a click,...

Re: Steering Wheel Finish Rubbing Off
I found out too late that certain surface finishes in my '99 S70 were alcohol soluble. Excessive use of hand sanitizer wrinkled and eventually removed the finish on frequently used switches, buttons, and steering wheel. Keep all alcohol-containing products out of the car! That goes for the drinking ...

2019 S60 cargo tie-downs
Does anybody know if the threaded holes for the front tie-downs exist? There is a rectangular depression in the side trim at the tie-down location, but no hole for the bolt. If I punch a bolt hole, will I find the threaded hole? The bolts for the rear pair of tie-downs are clearly visible. Front tie...

2019 S60 dash trim
There's a 2019 S60 Inscription I want to buy but it has the wrong color dash trim. I want to replace the "driftwood" pieces on the dash and console with the "linear lime" trim. Do the trim pieces just snap off? How much of a job am I considering?

Re: Pesky connector pins
OK guys, here's the trick: The white plastic secondary insert is retained by two internal tangs and one external tab. Fold a paperclip wire into a "U" shape and insert the ends into the holes at the base of each white "T" shape. This releases both internal tangs. Pry the white ex...

Re: Pesky connector pins
Thanks mrbrian200. I assume you refer to the light gray (whiteish) part being the secondary retention. It is definitely a separate piece of plastic from the dark gray connector body. I wonder if the "T" shaped section is a clue to releasing it. I'll try a pick around that area. If all else...
