I really wasn't going for anything special as far as the serp. belt goes, I have not seen an older Volvo like mine with the serp. on it so I was thinking a little custom touch would be nice. As I work on it I will keep yawl updated with pix and info.

Shop around at your local junk yards for the wheels but remember to check the bolt pateren.

The wheels on my 1990 740 Turbo should fit yours if you have a 5 lug bolt pattern. As far as the smoking goes it sounds like reattaching the lines and replacing the flame trap should fix this.

I had a rattle under my hood that sounded like it was in the dash. I'm not sure how loud yours is but mine was pretty annoying. Come to find out it was the heat shield under the spark plug wires. All I had to do was tightin up a few bolts and use some lock-tight and no more rattle. I hope this helpe...
