Quick update...spoke with Volvo service and made appt for tomorrow to get it looked at. Based on symptoms I described their guessing Valve Body to the tune of $3800. Does this sound reasonable? Of course they won't know for sure until they have the car, but I'm having a hard time with that amount in...

obd II scanner report NO issues, figures. Question for your guys then...If was to have the trans replaced (assuming that's the issue) would the replacement be any better than the original or did I just reset the time bomb?

I tried to search, but no joy. Maybe I missed something... Anyway, my wife drives a '02 S60 2.4T with 110k miles that just developed an issue. Scheduled maint is up to date including trans fluid, TB, etc, etc. No warning messages at all. Issue is while driving down the road just maintaining speed it...

I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere before, but I used the interior trim tool to push the lines off the filter. They slide off so easy it made me wonder how they ever seal!

Yes. Ours has been great since the little part was replaced. Hopefully yours will be just as simple to fix. Keep us posted in case it's something different. I'm still trying to learn what I can as this our first turbo'd car.
