It could be an early sign of the fuel pump failure that's coming soon ...mine failed at 138K miles..and that was the symptom; My mechanic told me my fuel filter was clogged that would have caused to fuel pump to overwork thus failing.

my FP died when it has less than 140K...It just cut out power a few time, a very light misfiring once b4 it just died one day.

my 97 960 SW got big, fat keys but no transponder,the chip, or it's embedded that I couldn't see it. My neighbor's Lexus ES broken key still starts her car with one hand using a needle nose plier and turns while other hand holding the broken handle with the transponder to the key insert channel.

In fact the car involved is not a volvo; the tip with the threadings is about 1/4inch and this part broke and I can pull
the bolt head out...Hoping it's OK like you said..

when I overtightened it (just one of them). What do I do? Please give me some advices..
