Every time I get into my 2001 S80 I hear a quite buzzing sound comming from behind the center stack. It drives me crazy! I don't hear it when the car is running only when it is turned off. I'm not sure when it started or if it is a problem but I wish it would stop.

Are the mirrors the same on S80/S60/V70 between 2000-2006? I am finding several on e-bay but don't know about compatibility.

The problem could also be worn steering stops. They limit the travel of the wheel. You can try replacing them with stock factory stops or IPD's thicker stops. Oh my God, are you kidding me? How could this be so complicated? I have the lava lamp problem so I bought a manual dimming mirror from a 2000 S80 off ebay. Well, the keyless entry does not work with the new mirror. Do you know if I could have the dealership reprogram this mirror to work on my car.
