I work at an independent Volvo repair shop. We see a few of these a year. Generally it turns out that the valve guide seals are bad, allowing the oil to be burned internally. Does anybody have information on where to get an aftermarket rebuild kit for a 960 engine? So far I have only found a whole head through the dealer. Really what I need are the valve guide seals.
