I'm almost 100% sure it is the serpentine belt. The buzzing accelerates when i press the gas.
So when I'm at idle it is like "buzz...buzz...buzz..."
When I have the engine at about 2000 RPMs it is faster - "Buzz.buzz.buzz.buzz."

Buzzing/chugging from serpentine belt
MVS, What kind of lubricants can I use to silence the wheels that turn my serpentine belt? My serpentine belt and the wheels that drive it have been under some abuse the last months due to fluids leaking onto it. (coolant, water, powersteering fluid) My mechanic checked out my belt and said the belt...

Re: Cleaning coolant from carpet
I just assumed the floor boards would eventually rust out if you cleaned the carpets with water. PS. there is a TON of coolant in the carpets.

2004 S60 Headlight lens replacement
Is it true you HAVE to take the bumber off to get to the headlight lenses for replacement for this car?
I've been searching for a tutorial on changing out the headlight lens and the closest thing I could find was an '01 S80 which you have to take the bumper off. sigh.

Cleaning coolant from carpet
Heater core nightmare = coolant carpet. What is the best way to clean it from the carpet without removing the carpet? I've read that water would help remove the coolant combined with a wet shopvac, but then the floorboards would eventually rust. What about soaking the carpets with rubbing alcohol an...

Re: Crap, what now. Rotors
Thanks Lee. It makes complete sense. Sketchy, but makes sense. Is there another way?
I'll be trying again Thursday and following up with a write-up hopefully

Re: Crap, what now. Rotors
K, the rear rotors are different from anything I've seen on this website. I took off a couple bolt off the back of the caliper but there is a metal hose that is inhibiting its mobility. Anyone have any suggestions.... cough.Lee!cough
