Dave, did you drop the subframe or work from the top? I'd really like to avoid dropping the subframe if I can.

My 94 wagon is approaching the 200k Mark, and the lockup solenoid seems to not work. Rpm's stay close to 3k on the highway at 70. Where under the cover is the lockup noid, or does one of the others pull double duty?

189xxx miles just did head gasket, New rad, small things that needed attention. Hope to have rectified the PO's deception and lack of maintaining these cars. Still need a fuel filter change, and looking for the xc70 caliper mounts to do big brakes. Body is solid but needs paint.

Got the head off and home. Broke a 3/8 breaker bar and a ratchet on the head bolts. :x good part is, someone had come and taken off the exhaust manifold! Yay! Car seemed to be well taken care of mechanically, showed 210k on the odo with miles showing on the trip odo, so I will assume correct mileage...
