Re: 2006 XC70 Evap pump replacement process

Hey all - I just wanted to post a thanks and kudos on this write-up.

I just finished this job on my daughters 2009 S60 AWD and it's basically the exact same procedure (I did the rain squeal bracket while I had the exhaust lowered).

Just a great explanation and writeup and worked perfectly.

Back from a break and a new guide in the works

I still own and love my 2007 S60 and my daughter still owns and loves my former 2001 S60. I have been busy with work, family and my running and guitar restoration hobbies so haven't been active on MVS for the past 2-3 years. I am shopping for a first car for my son and he wants an S60. We've narrowe...

Re: Drivers side multi window switch.

Try this: push window all the way down by pushing the down button, identify the fuse that controls the driver's power window, push the auto up window switch, remove fuse while window is moving, wait at lea...

Re: Time for Regular Service Message Reset Procedures Topic is solved

OK I posted earlier and had to go back and read my own notes. I have a 2001 and a 2007 S60 and they are slightly different and there's all these subtle different variations in procedure. So, I just did this five minutes ago and it is fresh in my mind: Resetting the service reminder on a 2007 S60: 1....

2007 S60 Soft brake pedal *FIX*

Hi MVS-ers I still own my Volvo and two of my girls still own their Volvo's. I've been away from MVS for a while so haven't posted recently. This week I did a full brake job on my 2007 S60 2.5T AWD. I've done it a ton of times but strangely the pedal was incredibly soft and would sink to the floor w...

Merry Christmas Matt & MVS

Been a long while since I've been actively reading & posting here. I still own my fifth Volvo and my daughter has my fourth so am still a devotee.

Stopping by to wish all a Merry Christmas

Re: 2003 V70 Front passenger speakers

HU 613 is a desirable receiver for some folks because of its internal equalizer adjustment settings, eliminated in later HU-650 models. If the internal amp is dead, it might be a lot easier and cheaper to buy an external amp and frun a cable from the pre-amp output. I did this with my HU-650 and the...

pre-2007 (all) trim renewal review

Hello folks – it’s been a while since I posted. I still have my S60AWD, my eldest still has her 850 and my next inherited my former S60. I recall there has been several past discussions about treating the sun/weather damaged plastic body moldings and bumper parts – those black plastic parts that fad...
