I have unplugged the MAF and tried starting the car. Still no difference. It cranks and starts for a second or two and dies immediately after. Also what would be a good OBDII scan tool to buy to work with my Volvo V70 2004?

I have used:
Autel MaxiScan MS309 OBD2 & EOBD Diagnostic Code Reader
But it said there are no codes. Not sure how good the tool is as I just got it.

I just cleaned the original spark plugs, I am now thinking of buying new ones from Volvo.
I will try to unplug the MAF sensor to start and let you know.
