Make offer, and if its more than the buy back from insurance we can work something out. Silver car. 188K on car, transmission rebuil...

Re: '01 s80 heated02 circuit
OK, New front sensor installed. Proper resistance on the heater circuit is 3 ohms, measured on the new one across the two center pins on the 6 pin plug. They are silver pins, the others are gold, on the OEM and new BOSCH from Rock auto at $80. Changing the front sensor from the top was a little diff...

Re: '01 s80 heated02 circuit
Replacing the rear sensor did not fix the issue with the front sensor heater circuit, so I think they are either in parallel on the same circuit or have two separate circuits, which makes sense as the computer has to know the current in each loop to throw the code.

Re: 2001 S80 rear 02 sensor replacement
So I did the job today, you definitely can get a crows foot on there and a wobble extension in past the pipe, but I only had a 3/8" drive crows foot and I was afraid I would break the extension, the leverage on the sensor is minimal. So I dropped the exhaust, simple to do, pulled the heat shiel...

Re: tranny repair
Make sure you buff the bellhousing and the block so when they go back together the car will start. Its free to do. Just want to make sure there is a good electrical connection between the engine/trans. While the transmission is of GM design, many of the internal parts are VOLVO specific and can not ...

2001 S80 rear 02 sensor replacement
So my rear 02 sensor needs to be replaced. I searched to see if there is a link on how its best done and didn't find one. There is a bolted joint in the exhaust right behind them and disconnecting there and removing the body cross braces might allow the pipes to drop if the flex up front moves enoug...

Re: '01 s80 heated02 circuit
So My J hose is cracked, what a miserable place to put that canister. Took a few minutes under the car to find it. I think I will remove the the heat shield bolts for the rear muffler and try an get some extra clearance to work on the hose. The hose has two large cracks at the bend end where the cla...
