Hi, I have a 98 V70.

Whenever the AC is on, the clutch for the compressor is constantly engaging and disengaging, like every four seconds.

Is that normal?

Well it doesn't only happen when I'm turning, it also happens with I'm going straight and I go over little bumps and cracks in the pavement, in a parking lot for instance at low speeds.

Thanks for the response Lee, I'm not quite sure which parts those are, but after getting a basic idea on Google images I guess I'll take a look and see what I can do.

I sometimes put a thermometer in my car, just to see how hot it gets.
It's gotten well over 130 F before.

I emailed my local volvo dealer asking for a 960 throttle plate, and they said they needed to know what year,
because it makes a difference, they said. I've combed the previous threads and can find nothing on this matter.

What year's 960 throttle plate do I need ...

Hey, does anyone have the part number for the throttle plate?
Or better yet, a reliable source for the throttle plate?
I emailed Don Waltrip Volvo like 2 days ago and they haven't gotten back to me.
