Ok, so the car does not start in neutral. I was turning the key hard, and that was the clicking, my bad there.

I replaced the ignition module, and the same thing. This only leaves the battery and the CPU. Other than that the problem is most certainly gremlin related.

All set.

It was a combo of the loose wire and moisture in the coil.

I disconnected the battery and sprayed carb cleaner in the coil, and wiped out the moisture / gunk.

Ok, here's where I stand as of now. I turned out that the green wire to the starter had popped off. The car now turns over, but doesn't fire.
