I managed to get the door panel off with the door shut. But the latch assembly is confusing. Is there a certain lever or pin that I can push or pull to release the door latch...once I have access (with the door shut)?
I tried yesterday to figure out what was lose but I had no luck.

My main concern right now is how do I get the door open to actually repair the part?

The spot is really tight and hard to see. I can't get the door open to have full access. What should I take a picture of and is there a way to pull the handle off of the outside door panel? Thanks!
