How do you determine if it is the selector switch. My signals worked one day, then I noticed the weren't working, next thing I knew they were working again. They have again, quit working. Suggestions?

2000 V40, same problem...was the axle. unable to find used / replacement so had it rebuilt. is fine now.

If I'm not mistaken, it is leaking from the passenger side. I do not know if the timing belt was, or is wet, and the check engine light is not on.
