Re: 1998 V70 Right Rear Window Regulator question

This fix just worked for me. Did it while waiting at the train station. In my case, it was the master switch for the right rear window that was dead. Around 45 seconds of working the switch and voila! the window moves again. :D

Re: Audio upgrade 1998 V70: Dolby, amp, speakers

Thanks Dragos. My amp is mounted and wired in with iPod connect behind the HU, so it seems simpler to mount the dolby under the seat, as there would only be the one cable to extend. Assuming I went that direction, anyone know where to buy a 4-foot(?) cable? Thanks.

Re: Audio upgrade 1998 V70: Dolby, amp, speakers

I have a SC901 and 4x45 behind-the-HU amp, looking for a bit more out of the system. Does adding the Dolby processor require a separate power source, or is it just the one cable they typically are sold with? Also, would there be enough room behind the HU for the Dolby and the amp? I'm guessing not, ...

Re: Ethanol in Fuel = GOOD for Performance?! FF#29

There was a recent thread by a guy in Sacramento with a stock '98 T5 (just bigger injectors and home-done retune, IIRC) doing consistent 13's in the 1/4 mile using E85. Very impressive. So Lucky let's get real-world here, I've got ARD Blue, 18t, t/b exhaust, and white injectors. What all would be ne...

Re: How to replace lower motor mount?

All mounts were replaced last year (along with RMS) during a clutch replacement. I had noticed excessive rebound when driving over a speed bump in first gear, particularly right after the rear wheels come down off the bump at very low speed; the car just rocks fore-aft a few times before settling do...

Re: Coolant Smell in Cabin Heat on Vents Open only

Turns out it was leakage coming from the lower radiator hose where it connects at the engine was causing the odor inside the cabin with CCM in open position. Thanks.

Re: How to replace lower motor mount?

Thanks Jim. So, you think my current OEM mount is just defective?
