the S80 T6 has been my favorite car. classic comfort, and a sleeper performance (at a price i can afford) that come in handy. i had a nose-to-nose decleration on the highway at night with a state police car last week. if i had a hopped beat box, or a know muclecar, i doubt he would have let me loose...

you can generally definetly get a kick from a good ECU upgrade, you be shackled to 93 octane, and frequent service inspection. to me it WAY worth it. i get 286->302 HP and 280->340ft-lb's on my T6, i don't know if they offer one for the 2.4L http://www.ipdusa.com/pdf/ipd_performance_upgrade_99_02_tu...

hrm, can't address your problem directly. but my fan often runs 'quietly' even when the car is off. perheps this is a remove the whole console operation; general those are the really expensive ones. in my last volvo (740 wagon) the blower would make horrible noises, that was an expensive fix :(

I had 17 inch alloy's included with my T6 when i bought it; they ride very nice. I use 16 inch for the snow tires. whether it's tires or diameter, you can really tell the difference between the two.
