Re: Breakout cable to add an Amp to P80 cars - audio centipede

Just wondering how you mounted the 400 w amp under the seat. It seems too large to fit. Was it a manual or power adjustment type seat? What did you use for the mounting bracket? I previously installed the 50 watt amp in my v70 with a SC-900. Looking forward to installing the SC-901 and amplifier I ...

Re: Front Suspension - putting together parts list

I think they're recommended as "use once". Will it work to re-use with Loctite? Probably. Would I chance it for the cost of a few nuts? Nah.

Re: '96 850 R Wagon in Red, upgrades, fast CHICAGO

Still have it. I may sell it to a friend. The estimate to repair was ~2300, but it's purely cosmetic - no broken glass or anything.

I have pulled out the ARD Green Tune ECU, so that is for sale separately now. I haven't posted it yet, so feel free to make an offer.

Re: '96 850 R Wagon in Red, upgrades, fast CHICAGO

Sorry guys... I'm in the middle of moving right now, so I don't have a ton of spare time. You're absolutely right - pictures would be great. See my previous posts and here for very recent pictures. What would it take for me to get in the car and drive to Portland? I'd replace the rear brakes (pads/r...

Re: Got stuck downtown last night, car wouldn't crank

Forgot to update...
The problem was the starter. Replaced that with a new one and the car fired right up. I was hesitant to replace it because there was no noise from it or anything, and there had been no indication that it was going bad.

Re: '96 850 R Wagon in Red - Many upgrades and go-fast parts

Oh - forgot to mention... I would consider a trade for something like a nice scooter/moped - maybe other things like vintage audio gear, electronics (Apple gear).

'96 850 R Wagon in Red CHICAGO SOLD

Hi guys - The good news is that my cars has got a lot of great upgrades. The bad news is insurance is looking to total it because of some purely cosmetic damage from a tree limb falling on it. It's completely drivable and very quick. Since I was looking to sell it in a few months (moving back into t...

Re: Volvo 850. Replacing Rear Brake Calipers and Brake Lines

On one side, I had to resort to a pair of locking vice grips. I don't remember why, but I did.

Re: Got stuck downtown last night, car wouldn't crank

yeah, what is the battery voltage? It's fully charged - I've tried jump starting the car and I've had a charger on it for over 24 hours. I've isolated it to the starter (or the starter solenoid) and ordered a replacement from FCP Groton. I'll throw it in this weekend and get it back on the road - f...
