Thanks for the reply. When you say you wired the A/C to the switch, are you talking about the signal that goes to the "A/C off" button on the heater control, or another connection to the A/C?

I'm having trouble with the A/C in my 1992 740 wagon. The A/C relay isn't with the fuse panel, or under the hood as far as I can tell. Where is it?
