I bought my 1999 xc used and it has some cheapo tires on it. I want to replace them with new. I put a lot of highway miles on my car driving between DC and NJ. I need good handling on the highway and good snow traction. What is the best tire for my car and use.

I want to remove the trim and overhead lights at the top of the windshield to tap power for a valentine V1. Also I need to remove the interior trim at the windshield post so I can route the wire for a remote VI display.

How do I do this without breaking any plastic parts??

I have a 1999 V70 and I see that my temp guage reads about 1/3 of the way up on colder days. when the weather was warmer, it would be about 1/2 way up. Is this normal?
