Re: S60R Michelin Super Sports wearing badly on inside fronts
Thank you for the reply. The tires had the inner row of tread worn to cords. To close this thread I'll report that I changes both control arms that had soft rear bushings and loose, but no play, ball joints. I think the alignment was changing badly on hard cornering because of the softened rubber in...

S60R Michelin Super Sports wearing badly on inside fronts
Hello all, We have a 2012 S60R with 235-40-18 Super Sport tires. They have been wearing badly on the inside edges of the fronts. I saw this at the end of last summer and dialed in more toe-in to move the wear out farther and rotated the tires this spring. The rears that are now on the front had even...

Thanks again for all the great info on this forum.

Re: Timing belt failure after replacement - Getting ripped o
It does sound like you paid allot for the parts. eeuroparts lists the belt and both pulleys for $140. But repair shops do mark up the prices. As far as having the belt fail in 2k mi I would think that is a workmanship issue. If the bearing in the new pulley was not good it would have still lasted mo...

Failing AC clutch was bad alternator regulator
Hi all, first post here. I would like to thank all the contributors to the forum, they have been most helpful. My in-law's S80 developed AC trouble in that after running for 10 minutes the clutch would not reengage. It has 70K, 2.9 auto. Reading most of the posts for this issue I was lead to believe...
