They glow dimly, when not in use, do I need to replace the fuse with a lower rated one?

I'm not sure I can use the Metra device to connect my steering wheel controls. The previous headunit in the vehicle was a HU850, therefore there was only three connections on the back: amp, green harness and antenna.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

They will not work, you will need a separate unit to keep them working.
